Some Android Auto users may experience issues the Android Auto adapters auto starting each time you start the car.  I have identified a glitch on startup especially if you wait a bit after opening the door before starting the car.  I created this app to run on your phone that greatly improves the startup.  It is still in beta form and you must manually install it using an APK that you can download below.

Installation Instructions

1. Download the software using the link below
2. Tap it
3. Android will say: “Install unknown apps”
4. Tap → Allow from this source
5. Install

Important: Accessibility Warning

This app uses accessibility to automate the steps necessary to fix the adapter in the stuck state.  Android will show you scary warnings like:

"This app can observer your actions..."

This is normal due to the way the software is distributed.  You must enable Accessibility for the Auto Fix to work.

Running the software

Start the CS AA Guardian software like you would any other app.  The app must remain running for it to work.  You need to set the following:

Settings → Apps → CS AA Guardian → Battery

Set to:

·       Unrestricted (or “Don’t optimize” / “Allow background activity”)

 

Settings → Apps → CS AA Guardian → Mobile data & Wi-Fi

Turn ON:

·       Background data

·       Allow data usage while Data saver is on

 

Settings → Accessibility → Installed apps

Make sure:

·       CS AA Guardian Auto Fix = ON

 

Settings → Battery → Background usage limits

Remove your app from:

·       Sleeping apps

·       Deep sleeping apps

Add to:

·       Never sleeping apps
